BEFORE YOU COME, PLEASE READ!
The
Garden Experience
EVERYONE MUST HAVE A TICKET PRIOR TO COMING TO THE FARM, EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT CUTTING!
3 & under are free.
Polly's Pick Day Adult Ticket: The cost for picking flowers for an adult is $25. This includes a mason jar and one hour of picking flowers.
We limit the number of u-pick tickets to ensure we have enough flowers and to keep the crowds reasonable. We sell a max of 15 tickets per hour session.
We do not count stems, so if it fits in your jar, it’s yours. Please limit yourself to only one sunflower and one dahlia.

Polly's Pick Day Child Ticket: The cost for picking flowers for a child (under 12 y/o) is $15. This includes a mason jar and one hour of picking flowers. CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED TO CUT THEIR OWN FLOWERS. Scissors will only be provided for the supervised parent. Please read below for our expectations of children visiting the farm.

Polly's Pick Day”Just Looking” Ticket: Due to the extensive cost of maintaining and insuring the flower fields, we are charging admission for folks who are “just looking”. Yes, even if you are just looking, you need a ticket.
Another reason we charge for this ticket is to maintain crowd control. We want the farm to be a place of peace and relaxation. If too many people are here at once, it loses the quiet and rural vibe.

Parents of little ones: We LOVE children, but please keep a watchful eye on them. Please do not allow them to pick and pull on the flowers or trample through the rows. Our farm is not a playground so please do not let them run freely, climb fences, etc. We reserve the right to charge additional fees for any damage caused by children.
A gentle reminder, our farm is a peaceful place for all. Unruly children and their parents may be asked to leave.

*ALL SALES ARE FINAL. You are able to change your event time up to 24 hours prior to the event. Reschedules will be offered based on availability due to inclement weather.
Unfortunately, we can’t allow refunds within 24 hours of the event, because it is too difficult to resell those tickets last minute.
Dates and Time:
-
We expect to be open from August till the first frost. The dates and times will vary from week to week.
-
We want to ensure that there are plenty of flowers available, so there might be breaks to allow for new flowers to bloom.
-
The best way to know when we’re going to be open, is to follow us on social media and/or sign up for our email updates.
-
The times will be in the mornings and/or evenings to avoid the hottest part of the day. It’s better for you and for the flowers.
How it works:
-
You will book your ticket(s) online to secure your date and one hour time block.
-
An email with your ticket will be attached. There will also be an instructions email that you must read prior to coming to the garden. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS & WATCH THE VIDEO FOR YOUR SAFETY.
-
Check-in upon arrival where you will receive your mason jar (if picking flowers).
-
We have sanitized garden snips for you to borrow that must be returned. Children will not be given scissors for the flowers and their own safety.
-
Take your time and walk through the many rows of bright and colorful flowers. Fill your cup with your favorites. Please limit one dahlia and sunflower per jar. We ask that you respect the flowers and only cut what you plan to take home. Do NOT cut more flowers than your jar can hold.
-
Feel free to take pictures around the flowers. We’d love to see your photos, so please tag us when you share to social media. (*NO PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY allowed when we’re open to the general public. You will be asked to leave if you’re conducting professional staged photo sessions while we’re open to the public. Please contact us if you’re a photographer or book a photoshoot under our services section).
-
Once your are done, return your snips, throw away any trash in the trash cans and enjoy your freshly cut bouquet!
What to bring during your visit to the farm:
-
First and foremost, bring OFF! We do have insects including mosquitos.
-

-
Bring extra water or drinks.
-
You are welcome to bring a blanket and picnic/snacks if you are willing to clean it up!
Expectations and rules for the farm:
-
This is an active farm. There will be bugs (bring OFF!), bees, and possibly other critters. They aren’t lookin’ for trouble, so please leave them be!
-
Wear appropriate clothing to visit the farm.
-
The ground is rough and uneven in areas, so be aware, watch your step, and wear closed toe shoes.
-
Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs on the farm. As much as we LOVE dogs, not everyone feels the same. We want this experience to be enjoyable for everyone. Service dogs are allowed and proof of paperwork will be requested.
-
Please do not venture into our horse barn, pastures or pig pens. You may look from outside the fencing but please do not feed our fur babies. We do not accept responsibility for any accidents that occur.
-
Please respect our home and grounds. Do not knock on our doors. If you need anything, please contact us via email or phone.
-
We do not have public restrooms at tis time but there is a country store (Whitey's Country Store) less than a mile from our farm that has clean restrooms.
